Happy Hanukkah, also known as Festival of Lights. The word Hanukkah means dedication in Hebrew. The story is not mentioned in the Torah, but it is in the New Testament as the event came after the Torah.
Markets have been bouncing but we'd be cautious about misplaced optimism on the real economy, notably in the US and Europe. In January COVID-19 will still be a reality. The handling of it and social behaviour remain questionable.
The US celebrated Thanksgiving on Thursday and many have taken the opportunity to have a long weekend with it.
